Geological mapping
Geological Map Showing the old working and drill holes with UTM projection.Scanned geological images were rubber sheeted to the coordinate references available with topographic maps and various geological features as below were captured: Point features: Attitude of bedding, foliation, Horizontal bed, Joints, Vertical Joints Linear features: Fault, syncline, Anticline Polygon features: All polygon shapes. Also Beta, Gamma and Alpha characters were captured in English characters.
Digital Terrain Model
Attribution of elevation information to contours, lakes and spot elevations. Generation of elevation profiles and digital surface models (DSM), DTMs, TIN, and slope models. High resolution, 3-D images can be created from elevation data and complex triangulated irregular networks (TIN) derived using the latest, state-of-the-art software and rendering technology. We offer the flexibility of having the filenames in either latitude/longitude or matching the corresponding 7½' quadrangle, if desired . The files are available in the original USGS format or optionally in ASCII XYZ format, AutoCAD DXF, ERDAS Imagine, and other formats upon request. Individual DEMs can also be mosaicked.
